Turbomachinery Mechanic

What you will do

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, and related equipment.
• Follow shop instructions, repair routers, OEM drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Use wrenches, hydraulic tooling, precision measurement instruments, and digital tablets for inspection documentation.
• Review bills of materials and manufacturing drawings to identify replacement parts.
• Collaborate with repair engineers, project managers, mechanics, machinists, weld technicians, and inspectors.
• Maintain safety standards, report unsafe conditions, and support overtime work when required by customer schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in industrial mechanical repairs.
• At least three years of experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• At least three years of experience with rigging using straps, chains, chain-falls, and swivel eyes.
• Ability to interpret shop instructions and manufacturing drawings and use scales, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
