Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, United States, with regular on-site work at the service center

What you will do

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for centrifugal compressors, turbomachinery systems, and other rotating equipment.
• Investigate and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues with timely, accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, vendors, and product companies to drive issue resolution.
• Manage corrective actions, root cause analysis, CRM tickets, technical documentation, and warranty-related support.
• Identify improvements to field service processes, technical training, and customer support capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of centrifugal compressors, rotating equipment, or turbomachinery, or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems, controls, and electrical components.
• Hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors, turboexpanders, or other large rotating equipment.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to support customers during urgent situations.
• Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and the oil and gas or process industries.
