Senior Engineer, Applied AI

Location: US remote; New Jersey and other US locations. Remote or hybrid candidates may be considered, and occasional on-site interviews may be requested.

Salary: $140,971–$228,870 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.

What you will do

• Embed within business functions to identify high-value problems where AI can reduce cost, time, or operational friction.
• Prototype AI solutions rapidly and iterate with real users.
• Define success metrics with stakeholders and measure delivered business value.
• Build and ship agents, integrations, and interfaces from discovery through production, adoption, and impact measurement.
• Use Claude, OpenAI, and the company’s orchestration platform to develop applied AI solutions.
• Build stakeholder trust, communicate across business and engineering groups, mentor earlier-career builders, and support adoption.

Requirements

• Hands-on builder with a strong bias toward shipping and a product-minded approach.
• Experience deploying at least one agentic or AI-powered solution to real users.
• Ability to prototype full-stack, integrate APIs, and build agents independently.
• Multi-year experience owning projects end-to-end and delivering measurable business impact.
• Strong communication skills across operators, engineers, and leadership.
• Ability to work legally in the United States is validated through E-Verify.
