Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; locations listed include Manhattan, California, San Francisco, Houston, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year

What you will do

• Build reliable, production-ready AI agents.
• Integrate AI with accounting and enterprise systems.
• Develop contextual workflows across complex applications.
• Work across product, backend, infrastructure, and applied AI.
• Collaborate directly with users to understand and automate their work.
• Own features from concept through deployment and ship quickly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of strong software engineering experience.
• Experience owning work and progressing in startup or scale-up environments.
• Experience building and shipping customer-facing products.
• Strong backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or applied AI engineering skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work across unfamiliar systems.
• Strong product judgment, user experience awareness, and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agents, enterprise integrations, accounting systems, or workflow automation.
