Senior .NET Developer (Azure)

Location: Based at hirify.global's corporate headquarters in Norcross, Georgia, United States. A personalized flexibility arrangement is available through the Flex Werk program.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Azure.
• Build responsive React web applications with a strong focus on UI/UX.
• Develop RESTful APIs through Azure API Management and scalable serverless solutions with Azure Functions.
• Architect event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure Storage, with distributed caching through Azure Cache for Redis.
• Optimize Azure SQL Database and SQL Server performance, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
• Modernize legacy .NET applications, contribute to architecture decisions, review code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET, including .NET 8+ or modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, RESTful APIs, React, React Router, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Cache for Redis, Key Vault, and Application Insights or Azure Monitor.
• Experience securing APIs and applications with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, design patterns, unit testing, Git, production troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy Microsoft technologies or modernization of legacy .NET Framework applications.
• React Router v7 SSR, TurboRepo or monorepo architecture, Tailwind CSS, or component libraries such as Base UI.
• Azure AI Services or experience building AI-powered applications.
• GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, or infrastructure as code with Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
