CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Avon, Ohio, United States; onsite at the hirify.global CDI facility. Second shift: 2:15–10:45 PM, five days per week.

What you will do

• Set up, load, and operate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines for production and non-production jobs.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, clean the work area, and complete manual deburring as needed.
• Follow process routing documents and perform documented quality inspections.
• Complete production reports, inspection records, and associated paperwork.
• Communicate with supervisors, quality personnel, operators, and shop staff to resolve machining and quality issues.
• Follow quality management system procedures and safeguard company, customer, and supplier property.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with vertical or horizontal CNC milling.
• Willingness to work the second shift from 2:15–10:45 PM, five days per week, with eight-hour shifts.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Experience with drilling, turning, tapping, vertical and horizontal machines, inspection, and basic mathematics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Bridgeport machine experience.
