CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global CDI facility in Avon, Ohio, United States. Second shift runs from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, five days per week, with eight-hour shifts.

What you will do

• Set up, load, and run production and non-production jobs on CNC machinery.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, clean the work area, and carry out manual deburring as needed.
• Follow process routing documents and inspect parts while recording results accurately.
• Complete production reports and related paperwork.
• Communicate with supervisors, management, quality personnel, and shop staff to resolve machining and quality issues.
• Follow quality management procedures and safeguard company, customer, and supplier property.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with vertical or horizontal CNC milling.
• Availability for the second shift: 2:15–10:45 PM, five days per week.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficiency in drilling, turning, and tapping; familiarity with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Bridgeport experience.
• Strong inspection competence, basic mathematical skills, and mechanical and technical capacity.
