Senior Accountant (AI Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support the monthly financial close and accurate financial reporting.
• Own accounts payable and vendor payment processing, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment runs.
• Support customer billing and accounts receivable through invoicing, collections follow-up, and cash application.
• Partner with Finance leaders on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Maintain internal controls, support external audits and compliance activities, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows and improve efficiency through technology, AI, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5+ years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new technologies and use AI and automation to improve finance processes.

Nice to have

• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience, especially with a Big Four or national, regional public accounting firm.
• Experience in a SaaS, software, or high-growth technology company.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Salesforce, Maxio, or similar cloud-based financial systems.
