Staff Accountant CPA (GAAP/Financial Operations): Managing day-to-day accounting operations for a scaling infrastructure and AI technology company with an accent on general ledger integrity, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance. Focus on building scalable accounting workflows, improving automation, supporting revenue and cost tracking for infrastructure operations, and coordinating multi-entity financial processes.
Location: Fully remote with flexible hours; regular company offsites.

What you will do
- Manage the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes and prepare financial statements.
- Oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense reporting.
- Track revenue recognition and cost allocation for infrastructure operations, datacenter leases, and hardware spending.
- Improve accounting workflows through process standardization and automation.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, leadership, tax, and audit partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including work in fast-paced or scaling organizations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
- Strong communication, organization, deadline-management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- CPA or similar accounting credential.
- Experience with multi-entity or international accounting.
