Firmware Engineer/C/C++ Developer (Embedded)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid work model: 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

What you will do

• Implement new features and develop existing embedded software in C/C++.
• Work with microcontroller peripherals and integrate devices with external systems and applications.
• Write unit tests and maintain code quality, readability, and reliability.
• Participate in the design of new devices and firmware features.
• Create and update technical documentation in English.
• Collaborate with hardware and other technical departments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and Git version control.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Higher technical education in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Experience with CMake, GoogleTest, and VS Code.
• Basic electronics knowledge and the ability to read schematics.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Knowledge of alarm or fire alarm control panels.
