Pre-Sales Consultant (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote or shared-space work across the United States; travel 20–30% within North America.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and independently scope solutions for fraud and financial-crime opportunities.
• Tailor product demonstrations to customer contexts and validate solution fit with technical teams.
• Use MEDDPICC to structure discovery and build ROI cases from fraud-loss data and regulatory exposure.
• Own RFI/RFP responses, scoping documentation, proposals, and proof-of-concept definitions.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to validate technical and commercial feasibility.
• Manage deal timelines and alignment among C-suite, security, technical, and financial stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting experience in fraud prevention, financial crime, or risk and compliance technology.
• Proven success closing complex enterprise deals with Tier 1 banks and leading financial institutions.
• Deep knowledge of fraud mechanisms and use cases including account takeover, scams, and mule activity.
• Experience with product scoping and demonstrations, plus working knowledge of AWS or Azure, APIs, databases, and modern application architectures.
• Understanding of analytical techniques, statistical modeling, and machine learning for fraud detection, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel 20–30% within North America.
