.NET Developer (Equities)

Location: NYC, hybrid with at least 3 days onsite per week. hirify.global does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas.

Salary: USD $105,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide daily application support and resolve escalated tickets for a live equities back-office system.
• Work with business and technical teams to investigate issues and deliver timely fixes.
• Write, debug, and refactor .NET code to improve system stability and maintainability.
• Maintain Perl, Unix Shell, and Windows batch scripts for scheduled jobs and automation.
• Follow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes and contribute to requirements discussions.
• Build new features or small applications and keep system documentation up to date.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience, ideally in application support with hands-on development.
• Strong .NET and SQL skills.
• Experience with Perl, Unix Shell, or Windows batch scripting.
• Comfort working in a ticket-driven, process-heavy environment.
• Strong communication skills for working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in NYC with at least 3 days onsite per week and existing U.S. work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available.
