Accounting Manager (Controllership Focus) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting, and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts, and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Work with auditors, tax agents, external advisors, Finance Systems, Data, Engineering, and business teams.
• Deliver finance transformation initiatives using AI, automation, data analytics, and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting, or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, reconciliation, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and challenge existing practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance transformation, automation, consulting, FinTech, or digital assets.
• Experience with ERP, BI, workflow automation, or financial systems.
• Interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data, and emerging finance technologies.
