What you will do
- Support the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts across Group entities and multiple jurisdictions.
- Produce consolidated reporting, management analyses, and profitability, margin, and performance analysis.
- Coordinate the Group external audit, manage deliverables, and liaise with auditors and regional finance teams.
- Prepare accounting updates and governance materials for the Audit Committee and senior leadership.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS 2 share-based payments, impairment assessments, business combinations, and acquisition accounting.
- Partner with business functions on mergers, acquisitions, investment activity, strategic finance projects, and reporting process improvements.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification.
- Strong post-qualification experience in audit, technical accounting, Group reporting, or financial reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in complex multinational organisations or professional services environments.
- Technical accounting knowledge covering business combinations, impairment, share-based payments, and financial instruments.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, FinTech, banking, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting complex acquisition activity.
- Exposure to hedge accounting and treasury activities.
- Previous involvement in external audit coordination and governance reporting.
