Facilities Maintenance Technician (Defense Systems)

Location: Santa Clarita, California, United States; facility-based role

Salary: $21.01–$27.98 per hour; eligible candidates may receive a $3,000 signing bonus

The Integrated Systems business unit develops hardware-level system integration and advanced package design solutions within the Defense Solutions division.

What you will do

• Perform building and facility maintenance, repairs, replacements, and warehouse duties across structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and sanitary systems.
• Support maintenance mechanics and facilities staff with furniture moves, electrical projects, painting, cleaning, light construction, and exterior cleanup.
• Use hand and power tools and operate site equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and support vendors providing security, cafeteria, and media services.
• Set up audio-visual equipment, deliver inter-office mail, manage recycling, and stock employee break areas.
• Maintain power, network, and space-usage documentation and assist with media-material editing.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a facilities role.
• Basic Environmental Health & Safety experience.
• Knowledge of safety systems or experience deploying job safety analyses, risk assessments, or management-of-change processes.
• Prior experience with California OSHA (Cal/OSHA) compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High initiative and ability to handle physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
