Analytics Engineer (Payments & Finance Data) (Python, SQL, dbt): Owning finance data products and models across payments and financial reporting with an accent on reconciliation, data quality, and reliability. Location: Fully remote from Armenia, Poland, Cyprus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Serbia, or Spain

What you will do
- Own the finance data domain end to end and ensure finance data is accurate, clear, and useful.
- Develop and maintain finance data products, including reports, alerts, automations, and financial models in Pigment.
- Use Python, Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt to build and improve the finance data stack.
- Monitor data freshness, completeness, quality, and reconciliation breaks; investigate incidents and drive them to resolution.
- Develop LLM agents for analysis, tooling, documentation, and automation.
- Explain complex data issues clearly and defend data-driven conclusions with Finance leadership.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and SQL in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Experience building data models with dbt.
- Commercial experience working with financial or payments data, including messy, duplicated, delayed, or inconsistent inputs.
- Experience owning reconciliation or data-quality processes, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to set direction, ask effective questions, and align stakeholders.
