Quality Specialist, Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, Texas (Pearland), United States

Salary: $30–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance, inspection, and verification activities across development, production, testing, and product acceptance.
• Analyze inspection and test results, identify quality trends, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Inspection teams on inspection improvements and new product introductions.
• Resolve complex product and process quality issues.
• Lead system and process audits, maintain quality documentation, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of quality systems, auditing, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading quality improvement and corrective action initiatives.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and process documentation.
• Understanding of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards, plus strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
