UX Designer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own design initiatives from problem definition through rollout, optimization, and scaled delivery.
• Create wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct research and partner with the data team to turn qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics into product improvements.
• Solve complex financial UX challenges while balancing usability, accessibility, cognitive load, and conversion goals.
• Use and evolve the existing design system to create consistent flows and efficient engineering handoffs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, developers, data specialists, designers, and customers while tracking conversion and engagement metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer with end-to-end product delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of interaction design and information architecture for complex transactional web and mobile applications.
• Expertise in modern product design workflows and tools including Figma, Protopie, and Dovetail.
• Ability to communicate and explain design decisions to business stakeholders, developers, and designers.
• Adaptability with emerging AI tools and ability to improve DesignOps workflows.
• Fintech, banking, or complex SaaS experience is beneficial but not essential.

Nice to have

• Experience with user trust and friction challenges in fintech or banking products.
• Experience designing for international markets, including EUR and US markets.
• Knowledge of fintech trends, competitor products, and emerging interaction patterns.
