AI & Data Platform Lead (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design and implement the first generation of the AI and data platform.
• Build ingestion, transformation, modeling, and semantic data pipelines across business and operational domains.
• Create executive dashboards, KPI definitions, governed datasets, and management reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement practical AI use cases, AI-enabled workflows, and automation opportunities.
• Establish data monitoring, documentation, quality, ownership, metadata, and governance standards.
• Shape the platform roadmap, operating model, future hiring needs, and mentor future team members.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building data platforms, analytics solutions, or data engineering capabilities.
• Experience with modern cloud data architectures, data warehouses, lakehouses, analytics platforms, data pipelines, ingestion processes, and semantic models.
• Strong business intelligence experience with Power BI or similar tools.
• Practical understanding of data governance, KPI ownership, and data quality management.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and executive audiences, combining architecture with hands-on implementation.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data platform and data warehouse ecosystems.
• Experience integrating ERP, MES, PLM, CRM, HR, or manufacturing systems.
• Background in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, automotive, defense, or other complex engineering environments.
• Experience applying AI to operational, engineering, or business processes.
• Previous experience as a technical lead, team lead, or founding member of a platform or data organization.
