Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Oslo, Norway; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week from the Oslo office

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines that support analytics and business decision-making.
• Improve data models, ingestion logic, and processing frameworks for performance and maintainability.
• Resolve complex data quality and system-level issues by identifying root causes and implementing durable fixes.
• Contribute to data platform architecture and reduce high-complexity technical debt.
• Improve technical documentation and help onboard and mentor newer engineers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics colleagues to align data infrastructure with business growth.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in data engineering, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and build reliable systems.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, defining scope, and making architectural decisions.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear decisions for non-engineering stakeholders.
• Practical experience embedding AI tools into day-to-day work and delivery.
