PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (Healthcare)

Location: De Pere, Wisconsin, United States; onsite clinic position

Salary: LPN $25.00–$30.00/hour; MA $21.00–$25.00/hour

What you will do

• Support a concierge physician with clinical and administrative functions.
• Interview patients, collect medical information, document assessments in the electronic medical record, and report findings to the physician.
• Perform venipuncture, basic laboratory testing, injections, EKGs, and other office-based procedures.
• Assist with medical procedures and operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including oxygen therapy and EKG equipment.
• Maintain exam rooms, patient flow, scheduling, calls, referrals, medical records, and care coordination.
• Provide a positive and supportive experience for each patient.

Requirements

• High school diploma and graduation from a formal training program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid nursing license to practice in the state of application for LPN candidates.
• Ability to give injections, complete EKGs, perform office-based procedures, and demonstrate exceptional phlebotomy skills.
• Two or more years of LPN experience, ideally in primary care, preferred.
