Sr. Compliance Specialist, EMEA (Life Sciences): Leading HCP engagement and third-party educational event sponsorship reviews across EMEA with an accent on healthcare regulations, industry codes, and transparent documentation. Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid or fully in-person at the Hammersmith office, with a minimum of 1 day in the office per week. Travel to additional offices may be required.

What you will do
- Serve as the EMEA subject matter expert for Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Healthcare Organisation (HCO) engagement compliance.
- Advise Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other functions on ethical, transparent, and risk-based HCP interactions.
- Lead the review and approval of HCP engagement activities, including business rationale, HCP selection, fair market value, hospitality, and other transfers of value.
- Own the end-to-end review, approval, contracting, tracking, and proof-of-performance process for third-party educational event sponsorships.
- Maintain documentation and reports that support transparency, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Design and deliver targeted compliance training and support the broader Ethics and Compliance Programme.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and proven Ethics & Compliance or internal controls experience in the Life Sciences sector.
- Hands-on experience advising business teams on HCP and HCO engagements under industry codes and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to global Life Sciences companies, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational and time management abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analytics.
- Fluency in French, German, and/or Spanish.
