Quality Control Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $94,700–$131,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Supervise manufacturing inspection and testing functions, including hardness testing, alloy verification, non-destructive examination, and final inspection.
• Assign inspection work, manage schedules and workload priorities, and coordinate coverage, overtime, and vacation planning.
• Develop inspection methods, tools, equipment requirements, quotations, and appropriation requests.
• Maintain calibration activities and ensure approved procedures, accurate results, and compliance with inspection requirements.
• Analyze inspection results and root causes of product and process deficiencies, resolving issues that affect quality.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Assembly and Test, Purchasing, Quality Engineering, Engineering, customers, and contract administrators.

Requirements

• Ten years of experience in manufacturing quality control.
• Associate degree, or a high school diploma with ten years of inspection supervisory experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience supervising inspectors and coordinating manufacturing inspection activities.
• Ability to provide training on inspection applications and geometric tolerances.
• The position may involve access to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
