Quality Inspector, Sr

Location: Christchurch, Dorset, UK; hybrid working is available.

Aviation technology manufacturer producing sensors, actuators, flight recorders, air data computers, mission displays, and other critical components for commercial, defense, and industrial platforms.

What you will do

• Inspect materials, parts, and finished builds against customer specifications, industry standards, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Perform routine inspections, identify defects, and use CMMs, Vici Vision, Keyence, and handheld equipment for precise measurement.
• Produce First Article Inspection Reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with customers and supply-chain partners to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Support production and engineering workloads, including MSA and statistical analysis studies.
• Compile SPC data and contribute to supplier-quality improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in a quality role within engineering or manufacturing.
• Good understanding of quality assurance and ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Working knowledge of CMMs, Vici Vision, Keyence, and other inspection equipment.
• Competent computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
• Additional security screening may apply when access to export-controlled information is required.
