Software Engineering Product Manager (IoT / Telematics)

Location: Hybrid role based within a commutable distance of Columbus, Ohio, with in-office presence two days per week.

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 expected starting range; $118,000–$222,000 national range, annually.

What you will do

• Lead the IoT and Telematics product and platform portfolio supporting connected-car, smart-home, usage-based insurance, and telematics data products.
• Own platform reliability, security, controls, data quality, lifecycle management, production support, and incident response.
• Prioritize new delivery, operational needs, technology debt, regulatory obligations, and customer value.
• Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, delivery commitments, financials, capacity, and vendor relationships.
• Drive modern engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, secure delivery, and disciplined release management.
• Lead and develop a team of five or more technology professionals while partnering with business and portfolio leaders.

Requirements

• Must be based within a commutable distance of Columbus, Ohio, and work in the office two days per week.
• This role does not offer employer-sponsored work authorization and does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.
• Six years of experience in application suite management, including four or more years leading multiple teams across multiple technologies.
• Experience with the systems development life cycle, modern engineering methodologies, project delivery, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to develop application roadmaps, manage risk and controls, solve problems, and build positive stakeholder relationships.
• Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or comparable education and experience are preferred.
