Junior IT Support (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot network, software, hardware, and infrastructure issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and test IT, security, server, storage, network, and power systems.
• Provide Tier I/II support, resolve service requests and incidents, investigate security events, and diagnose root causes.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities while supporting security technologies and operational resilience.
• Bring servers and switches online, deploy data center infrastructure, maintain hardware inventory, and support rack layout and capacity planning.
• Perform infrastructure inspections, vendor oversight, maintenance, RMA, project, and incident support at the data center.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a varied IT systems management role.
• Experience with change management and ITIL best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
• Experience managing Hyper-V, OpenStack, and vSphere, plus Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and IBM Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies including NGFW, WAF, IPS, EDR, NDR, AV, MDM, MFA, SIEM, email security, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with enthusiasm for security and continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Data center experience, including raised-floor enterprise-scale environments.
• Ability to pass required government security clearance.
• Experience with structured fiber and copper cabling, server hardware repair, and component replacement.
• Second-line experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power, data center power distribution, documentation, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding setting.
