Engagement Manager, Public Sector (Ohama)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; onsite with the customer 4 days per week and travel of at least 25% required

Salary: $138,400–$208,000 USD annually, plus potential equity and benefits

What you will do

• Manage customer relationships from executives through end users.
• Scope agentic workflow use cases with customers for Scale’s engineering team to build.
• Refine delivered workflows and lead cross-functional project teams toward customer AI/ML objectives.
• Identify customer needs and operator pain points to improve customer success.
• Oversee account onboarding and successful implementation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience in stakeholder management or customer-facing delivery of enterprise-scale applications or solutions.
• Structured, analytics-driven problem-solving experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite with the customer in the Omaha area 4 days per week and travel at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of professional experience, particularly in customer-facing technical program management in industry or government.
• Experience at an API technology company or managing technical customers using an API.
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
• Domain expertise in modeling and simulation, joint planning processes, intelligence workflows, or a related field.
