Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace

What you will do

• Develop manufacturing processes for complex fabricated aerospace components.
• Translate engineering drawings and costed manufacturing concepts into repeatable production methods.
• Support the development and optimisation of manufacturing cells and production workflows.
• Collaborate with quality teams on PPAP activities and PFMEA development.
• Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work with design, manufacturing, quality, and process engineering teams during product introduction and production ramp-up.

Requirements

• Proven manufacturing engineering experience in precision engineering or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong experience with complex fabrications and sheet metal forming.
• Experience with titanium, nickel alloys, or other high-performance metals.
• Knowledge of forming, welding, heat treatment, and fabrication processes.
• Experience supporting PPAP activities and working with PFMEA teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent hands-on experience from a technical military background. Willingness and eligibility to obtain BPSS clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• CAD proficiency, ideally SolidWorks.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
