AI Fullstack Software Developer (Python/LLM/RAG): Building internal AI and machine learning systems, scalable RAG infrastructure, and LLM evaluation frameworks to improve productivity across a trading firm with an accent on full-stack development, distributed systems, and production reliability. Focus on designing agentic AI solutions, evaluating model quality, integrating APIs and microservices, and taking projects from conception through operational handoff.
Location: Montréal, Canada preferred; remote considered for the right candidate

What you will do
- Build internal systems and tooling powered by AI and machine learning.
- Architect scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using current research and implementations.
- Design LLM evaluation frameworks to measure model quality and performance.
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to define and deliver critical features.
- Drive projects from technical planning and execution through production deployment and operational handoff.
- Maintain reliability through monitoring, alerting, proactive maintenance, code reviews, and documented code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 4–7+ years of experience building production software systems, with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Strong full-stack development experience with modern web frameworks and backend services.
- Proficiency in Python is required, plus experience with Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
- Deep understanding of API design, microservices, distributed systems, Docker, orchestration platforms, databases, and message queues.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems, plus strong communication skills.
