Drafting Specialist (EV Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Set up project templates and produce conceptual site layouts for EV charging, BESS, and edge compute sites.
• Review external drafting partner output, support coordination, and drive weekly completion of layouts.
• Ensure conceptual designs reflect qualified-site constraints and maintain consistent package structure.
• Maintain CAD standards, title blocks, symbol libraries, and design package templates.
• Prepare markups, revisions, and drawing production through the 30% and Issued-for-Permit design stages.
• Quality-check drawing packages and maintain utility and Authority Having Jurisdiction drafting requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in drafting, design, engineering technology, or a related field, or 3+ years of directly related professional drafting experience.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and the ability to produce accurate site layouts and civil/electrical drawing packages at volume.
• Strong attention to detail and experience delivering standards-compliant drawings on tight timelines.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, GIS, parcel data, or site-plan data.
• Ability to work remotely in the United States.

Nice to have

• Drafting experience in EV charging, BESS, solar, or utility/electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating or reviewing external design vendors.
