Quality Engineer-QSB Junior (Automotive)

What you will do

• Evaluate supplier parts across different automotive commodities and assess acceptance against applicable quality standards.
• Perform inspections, product and process audits, and validate quality incidents affecting other plants.
• Record non-conforming materials, collect statistical data on failures and defects, and manage quality-related system entries.
• Implement containment actions and create approved orders for sorting and rework.
• Identify root causes, communicate corrective actions, and apply problem-solving tools to prevent recurrence.
• Track ticket scope and KPI targets while participating in regular meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry, including quality, quality systems, quality assurance, or manufacturing.
• Experience with product and process audits based on VDA, IATF 16949, and/or ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of non-conforming processes, material management, quality tools, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience is desirable.
• Conversational English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T.
• ISO 19011 quality auditor certification.
• Experience with automotive exterior, interior, electronics, or powertrain manufacturing.
