TL;DR

What you will do

  • Represent process quality in new product development and provide quality guidance across design, suppliers, production, document control, and risk management.
  • Develop and evaluate quality systems, tools, inspection methods, and documentation for product and process conformance.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce variation, rework, scrap, lead time, and process inefficiencies.
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, process audits, and process-change approvals.
  • Develop and interpret Statistical Process Control charts, reaction plans, quality metrics, and statistical analyses.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, development, and production teams while training operators on inspection requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of quality or production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts, including 5S, Gemba, Kanban, and Kaizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with layup, consolidator, waterjet, CNC router, and/or press equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis and solve complex technical problems using advanced algebra, geometry, or trigonometry.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
  • Experience in advanced thermoplastic composites or automated manufacturing processes.
