Mid Level Data Developer, Colombia

What you will do

• Develop and maintain data transformations using SQL, dbt, or similar frameworks.
• Query, transform, and validate data in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Build and maintain data models and reliable datasets for analytics and reporting.
• Investigate data quality and consistency issues by tracing pipelines and transformation logic to root causes.
• Optimize SQL queries and transformation workflows for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with data developers, analysts, and business stakeholders while supporting new data sources and reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency at B2 or above, written and verbal, for client meetings and discussions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.
• Practical experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or a similar data transformation framework.
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL/ELT principles.
• Experience troubleshooting data quality and consistency issues and translating business requirements into technical deliverables.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or other BI and dashboarding tools.
• Familiarity with dbt testing, documentation, data lineage, modern data stack practices, Git, and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with product analytics, customer behavior, or operational data.
