What you will do
- Design and support batch and near-real-time data pipelines and integration workflows using Snowflake and AWS.
- Write maintainable code in SQL and Python following engineering standards and automated testing.
- Develop data transformation and orchestration patterns to improve consistency and performance.
- Enhance platform reliability via monitoring, alerting, logging, and data quality checks.
- Implement CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and governance/security standards.
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to advance data platform maturity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Experience delivering data solutions in Snowflake and AWS environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for building production pipelines.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data modeling, and orchestration.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends to support Agile needs.
Nice to have
- Experience with transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt or Airflow.
- Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Lambda, EC2, and CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of Snowflake-specific features such as Snowpipe and data sharing.
- Experience with streaming or event-driven data patterns.
