Pricing & Costing Transformation Analyst (FTC)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with regular office attendance required

What you will do

• Assess international pricing, costing, deal evaluation practices, methodologies, governance, and approval processes.
• Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews across Sales, Finance, Delivery, Operations, and Transformation.
• Analyse commercial, operational, financial, and delivery drivers affecting deal profitability and pricing decisions.
• Help design a scalable pricing and costing framework with governance principles, ownership models, approval structures, KPIs, and standardized processes.
• Build, test, and refine an Excel-based costing and pricing model using scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or final-year student available for a six-month fixed-term contract.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Strategy, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex model development, VBA, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic arrays, advanced formulas, data modelling, and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical modelling solutions and manage defined workstreams independently.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and attend the London office as required under the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting, pricing, finance, analytics, strategy, or transformation.
• Exposure to costing, profitability analysis, or commercial finance.
• Experience with AI-enabled productivity and analytical tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytical technologies.
• Exposure to SaaS, HR technology, payroll, outsourcing, professional services, continuous improvement, or business transformation.
