TL;DR
Trade Operations Analyst (Finance): Researching and resolving equity, fixed income, and FX trade discrepancies while instructing trade amendments and overseeing external service providers with an accent on risk mitigation, procedural discipline, and operational accuracy. Focus on troubleshooting complex trade issues, evaluating requirements for new markets and asset types, and supporting strategic initiatives across global teams.
Location: London, United Kingdom; office-based 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week

What you will do
- Research and resolve equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange trade discrepancies with brokers, banks, service providers, and internal colleagues.
- Instruct trades and trade amendments when required.
- Mitigate operational risk through disciplined procedures and sound judgment.
- Oversee daily activities delivered by external service providers, vendors, and offshore resources.
- Support strategic initiatives by evaluating operational requirements for new markets, asset types, and trade types.
- Assist other areas with custody, trading inquiries, and client support.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage interruptions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, and Excel, is required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and external service providers worldwide.
- Integrity, a fiduciary mindset, accuracy, concision, and timely decision-making.
- Ability to learn, ask questions, challenge the status quo, and contribute to process improvement.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of equities, fixed income, and foreign exchange.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel macros, or Copilot.
- Experience with Bloomberg, SWIFT, ALERT, OASYS, Omgeo Connect/CTM, Omgeo TradeSuite, bank websites, or similar business applications.
- Relevant professional experience.
