Salary: $86,100–$124,300 per year

Steam & Air Solutions provides turbine-drive and shipboard compression equipment for U.S. Navy ships, supporting propulsion, power generation, ship service air, oxygen/nitrogen feed air, and related systems.

What you will do

• Oversee the quality management system, procedures, and methods to ensure efficient operation and regulatory compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for materials, partially finished products, and finished products.
• Design engineering solutions and identify parts for the testing facility.
• Review regulatory references and assess their impact on facility operations.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and in-process work surveillances, documenting findings in formal reports.
• Investigate non-conforming occurrences and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to DoD requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or science-related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Navy, ISO 9001, NQA-1, or 10 CFR 50-compliant quality programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to understand statistical inference.

Nice to have

• Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program experience.
• ISO 9001 or NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor qualification.
• Gas boiler operation experience.
