Sr. Financial Advisor CIRO-MFD (Urban)

Location: On-site full-time in Ottawa, ON, at Ottawa-Billings Bridge Plaza; flexibility to work at multiple nearby banking centres, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of clients through relationship management and personalized financial planning.
• Provide investment advice and use hirify.global tools to recommend credit and investment solutions based on client needs.
• Build new client relationships by networking, cultivating local connections, and converting leads.
• Develop sales plans based on the local market and prospective client base.
• Increase community and brand awareness through local events, marketing, and outreach activities.

Requirements

• 1.5–3 years of experience in a financial advisory role managing and growing a client portfolio.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing upon hire and completion of the Personal Financial Planner designation within 24 months.
• For Quebec-related licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of the required investment course, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Ability to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel between multiple nearby centres.
