Financial Advisor - CIRO - MFDA/AMF

Location: On-site full-time in Princeton, British Columbia, Canada; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, and broader financial planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads into clients, and generate referrals through networking.
• Attend community events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to build brand awareness.
• Work banking centre hours, including possible evenings and weekends, and support clients as a single point of contact.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Strong client engagement, relationship-building, networking, business development, and financial planning skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Availability for onsite work, banking centre hours, and travel between nearby banking centres.
