Financial Advisor - CIRO - MFD/AMF (Urban) (Mandarin) (Financial Advising): Building and growing client portfolios through relationship management, financial planning, investments, lending, and estate planning with an accent on Mandarin-language client service, needs-based advice, and local business development. Focus on cultivating client relationships, converting leads, supporting licensing requirements, and developing community connections across banking centres.
Location: Vancouver, BC; Vancouver-Main and Pender. The role involves working across multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, with banking centre hours that may include evenings and weekends. The portion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do
- Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
- Provide tailored financial advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.
- Develop local sales plans, convert leads into new clients, and generate referrals through networking.
- Attend local events and participate in community marketing and outreach activities.
- Act as a single point of contact while helping clients plan for financial needs, home ownership, and business creation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
- Mandarin-language capability for serving clients.
- Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
- For Quebec-related licensing, current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
- Strong client engagement, financial advising, business development, networking, and results-oriented skills.
