What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace facility buildings, grounds, dock equipment, and support systems.
• Service HVAC units, chillers, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, cranes, diverters, palletizers, automated stretch wrappers, and automated storage and retrieval machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fire suppression, and electrical systems.
• Install and repair 120-volt and 277-volt circuits, power distribution equipment, motor controls, variable frequency drives, PLC networks, and related control components.
• Repair and fabricate machinery using cutting, grinding, brazing, plasma, MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-acetylene welding equipment.
• Train lower-level technicians and assist higher-level technicians with complex maintenance and repair tasks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, construction trades, air conditioning maintenance, welding, or hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organization, time management, written and verbal communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders and elevated work platforms and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees.

Nice to have

• EPA Universal License.
