Sr. Software Development Engineer (Backend Dev - C/C++)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mohali, India

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software components in C.
• Design and optimize data structures for efficient problem-solving.
• Work with Linux- and FreeBSD-based systems, including basic configuration and scripting.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to investigate and resolve system- and application-level issues.
• Use GDB and other debugging tools to identify and fix software errors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in C programming with a strong understanding of core principles.
• Hands-on experience with arrays, linked lists, stacks, trees, and their applications.
• Familiarity with process management, threading, and memory management.
• Experience using GDB or comparable debugging tools.
• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, including integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Git and other version control tools.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
