What you will do

• Prototype, design, develop, and support the hirify.global Scanner Platform.
• Analyze, code, and debug complex security software.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems and platforms.
• Recommend and implement continuous technical improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to apply development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience developing products for service-oriented deployment in public or private clouds.
• At least 5 years of C/C++ programming experience in a Linux environment.
• Working knowledge of the Linux kernel.
• Experience with design, prototyping, development, unit testing, and performance profiling.
• Experience with VIM, Jira, Git, Nexus, and Maven, plus Agile development with Scrum.

Nice to have

• Experience with test-driven development and high-quality software delivery.
• Experience launching complex software projects with multiple features and short release cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, influence delivery commitments, and resolve conflicting priorities.
