Senior Manager, Manageability Software Team (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom; hybrid working with a minimum requirement to be onsite three days per week.

What you will do

• Lead and line-manage a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, including permanent staff and contractors.
• Build a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, professional development, hiring, and onboarding.
• Coordinate delivery through sprint planning, stand-ups, and collaboration with adjacent teams.
• Partner with product management, support, and senior leadership on medium- and long-term product roadmaps.
• Act as an escalation point for internal and external customer issues.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience managing software development teams.
• Previous professional experience in software development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance technical, product, and business priorities.
• Experience hiring and growing engineering teams.
• Confidence handling escalations and difficult conversations.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies including React, Django, C#, and WPF.
