Technical Operations Manager

What you will do

• Lead the Technical Operations function across digital workplace, infrastructure, cloud platforms, application support, integration, and database services.
• Manage low-, medium-, and high-risk projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including schedules, risks, issues, and customer expectations.
• Lead pre-sales activity and develop high-quality, achievable proposals.
• Manage project commercials, work in progress, aged debt, variations, follow-on work, and sector profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and develop project and operational teams while managing resourcing and recruitment.
• Contribute to sector strategy, business planning, customer relationships, and revenue growth.

• Experience leading technical operations and managing multiple projects.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and business growth.
• Strong people management, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starting approach, confidence, strategic thinking, and focus on delivery.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Bellshill or Glasgow locations.
