Systems Engineering Manager - Programmes (Cybersecurity)

Location: Maidenhead, United Kingdom; onsite. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. British citizenship and UK residence for the past 5 years are required for SC clearance, and 10 years for DV clearance.

What you will do

• Lead engineering delivery across programmes and multiple projects of varying size.
• Support programme planning and scheduling, optimise schedule logic, and manage engineering resources.
• Ensure engineering artefacts are delivered to budget and schedule while improving programme margin.
• Identify and mitigate technical, resource, cost, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate systems engineering teams, assign day-to-day work, and represent the company with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Drive innovation, resolve cross-functional issues, and manage information security requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, mathematics, or physics, or suitable defence/aerospace industry experience.
• Significant experience in systems engineering lifecycles, System of Systems principles, capability delivery, development models, and associated processes.
• Experience developing high-quality requirements and compliant capabilities using product-line or capability-based approaches.
• Experience applying engineering lifecycles and ISO, IEEE, or IEC standards and practices.
• Technical and line-management experience leading systems engineers across programmes or projects.
• Must be able to obtain the required UK security clearance; British citizenship and relevant UK residency history are required for SC/DV clearance.

Nice to have

• INCOSE CSEP or ESEP recognition.
• Experience as a technical subject matter expert and developing new areas of expertise.
• Familiarity with NCSC security processes and associated security artefacts.
