Banking Centre Leader (Financial Services)

Location: Port Hardy, BC, Canada; on-site full-time. The role may require work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Lead a team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Hire, coach, develop, and support employees in achieving team goals.
• Deepen client relationships, resolve complaints, and support clients with financial needs.
• Monitor banking centre performance and implement action plans to close business gaps.
• Develop community connections, grow client relationships, and maximize market opportunities.
• Manage and minimize risks while maintaining accountability for banking centre results.

Requirements

• Experience providing coaching and hands-on support to achieve team goals.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-first, goal-oriented, accountable, and people-focused leadership approach.
• Knowledge of banking operations, financial advising, financial products, business development, and client service.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO).
• Branch Managers Examination Course (BME).
• Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
