CNC Machinist (Manufacturing)

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom; onsite manufacturing role with shift and overtime requirements.

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and manufacturing specifications.
• Measure and visually inspect completed parts for defects and conformance.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot machining issues.
• Record production quantities, dimensions, deviations, and other manufacturing data.

Requirements

• Proven CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating lathes, borers, grinders, and other machine tools.
• Recognized full Level 3 apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or a relevant technical engineering certificate.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail, accurate measurement skills, and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
