Google Cloud Security Engineer (GCP/Azure)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model with jointly agreed home and ING MAD office days.

What you will do

• Ensure the security and resilience of public cloud infrastructure for ING’s global CISO organization.
• Implement vulnerability management processes and security controls.
• Validate and enforce secure configurations for cloud-native solutions.
• Secure containerized environments using technologies such as AKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Use Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code in Azure.
• Communicate security issues clearly and solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Knowledge of security features in GCP Public Cloud.
• Experience with vulnerability management, cloud-native security configurations, and containerized environments.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and Azure Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OCI security features and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Experience with ETL, data analytics, and reporting solutions such as Apache NiFi or Kafka.
• Knowledge of network implementations and Kusto Query Language.
• Experience with Documentation as Code using Sphinx or reStructuredText.
• Cloud or security certifications and interest in emerging technologies.
