What you will do

• Define cloud security standards, guardrails, and reference architectures for Infrastructure, SRE, and Product Engineering.
• Own threat modeling as a scalable discipline for new cloud technologies and services across Engineering.
• Drive control-plane and IAM security strategy across AWS and GCP, focusing on RBAC and least privilege at scale.
• Design high-signal detections and SIEM rules, serving as a senior incident responder and cloud-forensics lead.
• Secure self-managed Kubernetes environments, including control plane, nodes, workload isolation, and CI/CD supply chains.
• Mentor other security and platform engineers through design reviews, pairing, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Several years of experience owning cloud security in production environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS as the primary cloud, GCP, and self-managed Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in reading and writing code using Python and Terraform.
• Must be based in the United States.
